I've stopped for the last time on the last day, and now we're driving into Durango. Yay!

Cool stuff today, but windy!

I was attacked by tumbleweeds all day, but I came out unscathed! I'm starting to wonder if the last hour of each day is cursed: sand, snow, hills, and now wind! Maybe locusts tomorrow?

Here are a few cool shots from earlier yesterday afternoon. The weird looking plastic on the back of the bike is actually a solar charger, which keeps my cell phone charged all day. How cool!

Huge elevation gain today! I turned off the Endomondo midway up the last pass, but I made it 51 miles - all uphill. Here's me at the top of the pass!

I didn't want to start in 1 degree weather, so I'm waiting a little bit to get going. Today's route should take me through 50W and onto 285S! I have the points posted above, and I'm going to try to stream my location (even though it's so cold). So check back throughout the day!

But the little bear on the wall outside our hotel room is delightful. That's right, 1 degrees is too cold to sleep in the car. Hopefully it warms up soon; I'm gettin anxious to get back on the road!
